Catchy Blog Names

I just spent the last half hour trying to find a catchy name for this blog. It's crazy how many tutorials there are out there if you google the title of this blog. No success probably but it is a name that describes my life as it is now. In just 3 days I will spend 10 months in Sicily as an exchange student with AFS Intercultural Programs. I am too excited to meet my host family, they have 3 kids, all younger than me. It's tough to leave your family behind but this is a new chapter in my life. Many of my friends have asked me why I'm doing this, why not wait until I graduate from high school, what the purpose of my trip is. More than learning about a new culture and gain a life-changing experience, I want to find myself. I've known for a long time that in order to do this I needed to get away from everything and everyone I know. Step out of my comfort zone. I need to become more independent and find the essence of what is Angelica. Bittersweet huh? The thing is, it really hasn't hit me yet. I mean, I feel nervous and somewhat excited but I haven't cried or anything about leaving my family and friends behind. I'll miss my boyfriend terribly but now that the time apart will help strengthen and nourish our relationship. Only time will tell a lot of things. For now, this roller coaster ride of experiences will begin in Italy, next time who knows?
